U13 2012

The MVPs, chosen by the players and coaches are listed below, with a few of my favourite reasons mentioned.

• Shar: Great attitude and a lot of skills; one of the main team member who has put us in the top 3; played as a brilliant goalie; scored several goals
• Francois: was great as gk, several times making the sacrifice for the team, earning shutouts, and scoring 3 goals himself; plays well every position; always focused; a true team player; top fitness
• Adamo: rock solid on defense, not many balls go by him; was a strong defender the whole season, was committed to the team; listened to the coaches and worked hard at practice.
• Venance: scored many goals; made players around him better (my favorite); made friends with many players; gives a lot of opportunities to other players to score.

Many players were nominated for special awards for multiple reasons, here are some:

• Peter P.: "played hard every game" (3 nominations!)
• Hunter: "always plays his best"
• Gabriel: "never gives up"
• K'Paw: "he was very good at low mid and helped the defence out a lot".
• Dylan: "he was a good defender and he got better over the year"
• Gustavo: "the league's best throw-ins taker is on our team"
• John: "he always cleared the ball out when they got a breakaway"
• Noah: "always tries his best in a game"
• Alex: "keeps on fighting for the ball and never stops running".
